Neighbours and other building users may still need the corridors, lobby and elevator during the move. Keep packed contents inside the unit until the planned work begins, follow property instructions and avoid leaving boxes in fire routes or common areas. Confirm how the crew enters the building and who provides keys, fobs or elevator access.

At destination, arrange the order in which larger pieces enter the unit. Measure the intended rooms before moving day and decide where furniture belongs. If a piece cannot use the reserved elevator or stair route, that should be identified during quoting rather than discovered inside a limited building window.

Storage lockers require their own inventory and access check. State whether the locker is on another floor or reached through a garage, and separate those items from the main unit load.
